Neighborhood Council

"What a neighborhood means to me is help and trust in our neighbors."

St. Joseph County Child

Pizza on the Porch

This innovative event is sponsored by the Building Better Neighborhoods Council of Healthy Communities. Local restaurants such as Barnaby's and Brunos' support the efforts to bring back the sense of "neighborhood" by providing free pizzas in over 20 neighborhoods throughout St. Joseph County.

Area residents get an opportunity to meet their neighbors—sometimes for the first time. Hosts lead discussions centering on a simple questionnaire which encourages the sharing of ideas, dreams and goals that can help unite neighborhoods by bringing to light common interests and desires.

Check the Community Calendar for upcoming neighborhood meetings and activities.
