HCI Partnerships are critical to the current well-being of our community and to the future well-being of our grand-children. Our newest partnership is called InterNAT; an intergenerational mentoring program in which teens teach computer skills to seniors in exchange for the opportunity to learn life skills from the more experienced members of our society.

Throughout this website, you will find a number of ways you can be involved in the efforts of your Healthy Communities Initiative—from volunteering to facilitate a neighborhood meeting, to participating in HCI Day, to being a Healthy Communities Sponsor, to donating funds—all serving to further our efforts to improve our community's overall health.

"To laugh often and love much;

To win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children;

To earn the approbation of honest critics;

To appreciate beauty;

To give of one's self, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;

To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;

To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—that is to have succeeded."

Ralph Waldo Emerson
