The Drug Free Community Council’s membership
is largely diverse with community members representing the following
areas:
• Healthcare
• Media
• Education
• Self-Help
• Civic Organizations
• Law Enforcement
• Local Government
• Area Businesses
Being a member of the local DFCC enables you to
be consistently kept informed of the latest developments in the
areas of alcohol, tobacco and other drug treatments, prevention
and education in the community. It also lends a voice to the
local agency each member represents, giving a forum for public
awareness. In addition to these benefits, being a member affords
unique opportunities for networking and collaboration with other
field professionals in the community.

DFCC Monthly Meetings
The
Drug Free Community Council meets monthly at the Chamber of
Commerce briefing Center at 401 East Colfax, Suite 310, South
Bend, Indiana. Traditionally, these meetings occur the first
Tuesday of every month at 3:00pm.

2007-08 RFP online
The Drug Free Community Council has been
chosen by the Governor's Commission for a Drug Free
Indiana as the Local Coordinating Council for St. Joseph
County. As we work to increase awareness of community
problems by participating, sponsoring,
supporting and developing new and existing programs that address
various substantial issues in St. Joseph County, we welcome you
to see our community agencies in action.
